A message from Capt. Jesse Lowers:
I would like to thank you for choosing Lowers Fishing! We offer
excellent fishing opportunities throughout the Chesapeake Bay. Whether
its trolling or chumming, from our spacious '45 Chesapeake to light
tackle and fly fishing from our 24' Sailfish center console, we offer
something for everyone.
My fishing experience started at a very young age. My first boat, well
if you want to call it that, was an '8 dingy with a set of oars. I would
leave Norman Creek off of Middle River at 3 a.m. and paddle as far as I
could by sunrise. After a few years, I was ready for a motorboat. I
talked my dad into a 17' V-Bottom with a 25-horse power Johnson. Now, I
was big time! I fished every part of the Bay, quickly realizing I needed
a bigger boat for the windy days on the Chesapeake. After many long
talks with my dad, I finally had a Bay boat. It was a 21'center console
with 150 Mercury outboard. Now, I was ready to charter!
After a few years of fishing, everywhere from the Susquehanna Flats to
below Solomon's Island, in 2002, I purchased a 24' Sailfish center
console with a 200- horsepower Yamaha outboard. I still charter that
boat today, as well as our 45' Chesapeake. Whether it's an afternoon of
relaxing bottom fishing or an early morning chasing trophy rockfish,
come join us for a day on the Bay for some fantastic fishing!
